As announced by Genesis, the range-topping trim model of its 2023 GV60 series will be able to hit the speed of 60 MPH from a dead standstill within 4.0 seconds. Moreover, all the 2023 Genesis GV60 models will also come with a fast charging option which is now becoming the trend in the circle of EVs, and we can see the same feature enabled in the Hyundai and Kia EV models.
Power Generation and Range
The new high-performance EV model 2023 GV60 from Genesis is now coming with a powertrain that can raise 429 horsepower when paired with an AWD configuration. The higher trims of this model series claim that they will escalate the output to 314 horsepower from a dual-electric motor and an AWD setup to compete with the regular gasoline crossovers, and to spread awareness among the people who still do not feel confident about switching to EVs for performance reasons.
The 2023 model year edition of the Genesis GV60 model series of EVs will render 225 horsepower model, if you configure it with the standard RWD format. The next higher performing trim model will be able to bring out 229 miles of range, while the 314 hp making AWD versions of the model will cover 249 miles with a 229 hp at its disposal and can stretch it up to 280 miles of range with the RWD setup.
